I'm glad you had mentors. I seem to have put a lot of limits on myself. I don't think I would have started being able to feel or see anything if my friend hadn't been in danger. Even now, it's a lot of work digging through and pulling stuff back to the surface.

Energy manipulation for instance. Let's say I want to make a shield. I see the shield in my mind and it is there.

I want to seal a house, I trust that the seal forming in my mind is the embodiment of what I want and I place it on whatever I wish to seal.

I seem to also have to speak the intent or it doesn't stick as well. I've been practicing a lot. I have a few friends who are open and I charge a few items around the house and have them play find everything. it's pretty fun and they're rarely wrong.

1. Oh. That's the base principle of High Magic, actually. You have to be able to understand, conceptually, what you are doing. I thought you were just opening a door with a goal in mind like "kill that". Regulation, visualization, and comprehension are the three legs that support wisdom's stool.

I don't remember learning such things yet but yes I would have to say those are the things undo with a few crutches. Like I associate certain things with hand movements until I can so things with only thought.

I don't know a lot about vampires or dna... or viruses... but I heard form a virologist that the easiest/fastest way to change a living person's dna was by using a virus. Viruses can be natural or synthetic. I personally believe there are several different kinds of vampirism, different branches of the same virus, like a natural evolution. Anyways, of one of the kinds of vampires I believe exist, I believe the virus when it enters the body, infects every cell in range and changes its dna until the entire body has a new organic structure. I also believe that due to its ability to manipulate dna, it can cause the body to develope new organs or changed organs like glands and such. I believe when the virus is done changing the whole body, it contains itself in a gland that can be accessed by the host, either by will or instinct, maybe both or neither, but accessible all the same, for the purpose of spreading the virus.
