Super Weird Vibe

I've been awfully uneasy of late. I don't really know why. it's like my instincts have gone nuts and I'm constantly on alert. Like something bad is gonna happen soon. I have seen other posts like this, and I wanted to know if any of you feel this way or I'm just being stupid.

I agree. I found it odd so many others did too. what I felt strange was at the end of March I felt a powerful benevolent being awaken. The person was probably acting in self defense unaware of who he or she is. In spite of nearly eliminating many spiritual threats I had been researching, it seemed as if the Darkness grew in activity. And it hasn't stopped.

Moth are you the only one that felt it? Or have others?

Maybe I'm just late to the bad feeling party. Or it could be as Az said, that there could be a vampire I don't know about nearby.

What is that like? Has it happened before? If your feeling is new then it is more likely another cause.

Well, I haven't felt anyone take any real notice of me more than usual. I've been alone when I've had the weird vibe.

Look, I'll level with you guys, something fucking weird is going on. Do you know who've I've got lodging in my basement right now? A FUCKING VAMPIRE. He just turned up offering to help me with my situation, no strings attached. If that wasn't weird enough, he's also a member of this Dracula-worshipping cult that's normally triple-paranoid. So yeah, something weird's going on. I blame the Sothic Cycle.

A side note. Dracula is not as powerful as his believers or many believe. He is intelligent and Savage. Dangerous combination but far from being like those who were worshipped before him. Something i remember about them. And henisnfar from being the first vampire. Dracula is akin to a J Gatsby. Great movie btw

Dude. They say that Dracula's dead. When I said they worshipped him, its in the same way that Buddhists "worship" Siddhartha Gautama: he's the founder and symbol of their little cult. They claim he became mortal through discipline and force of will, and overcame his "inner demon". Hardly EVIL, exactly.

Really? You're telling me that Dracula's ghost is floating around out in our world? Because I have two good arguments against that:
1. Vampires don't leave ghosts behind. Period. That's why some people falsely claim that vampires don't have souls. When a vampire dies, their soul gets the fuck out of dodge into the Underworld.
2. If it WAS, magi would be over that shit like white on rice. Being able to talk to (read: enslave) one of the most savage killers on Earth, who also became a powerful vampire? A necromancer would sell his granny for that opportunity.

Did I say anything about ghosts? There are many more places to hang out than here when one dies.

And have you died and followed a vampire to the Underworld? I would be more acceptable of you saying they go to Purgatory. Based on my understanding of the Underworld, pretty much everything goes there when they experience physical death so it's nothing so special or elaborate or damning for a Vampire.

1. Look, I'm not saying I BELIEVE anything that this faith peddles about Dracula. I'm just saying what they believe. And if they think Drac turned to some weird self-control technique, redeemed himself, and became human, that's still not as weird as a virgin birth creating someone both fully human and fully God who died on a tree for our sins and came back to life, defying all known laws of reality. Or the world being made out of the various chopped-up body parts of a giant. Until I find this guy eating babies and praising Satan or whatever, I'm not staking him, is what I'm saying.
2. Right on the money about the Underworld. I didn't say it was a punishment;everything that has a soul goes to the Underworld when it dies. Good, bad, fair, foul, doesn't matter, you still get binned into the Underworld and are forced to stumble around until you end up in some afterlife that suits your deeds in life.
3. You're right, I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions.

I haven't seen a true vampire in a long time. "Kin" is a better word for the vampires I've seen. And I'd be wary of these creatures and their cult. History has a nasty habit of changing itself to make the good look evil and the evil look good. I doubt they even have any contact with Dracula, and if they do stay away.

I'd also imagine Dracula being one who is capable of bypassing the normal route of death. A good way to think of Dracula is Kahn. Someone who won't die, is ruthless, savage, bestial but a damn genius. He was touted as the 'strongest' in this ages history books not because he was the purest blooded but because he gave himself up completely to his vampire nature.

No books, just memories, and intuition. I could be completely wrong. Him making a move is bad bad bad though.

To my knowledge, there is no Vampire kin. You're either a vampire or you aren't.

From what I've observed there are many that are attempts to manufacture the vampire condition through various ways. They unfortunately all carry the title "vampire" because some are indistinguishable by character. There are vampires then there is Vampire. Most are just vampires. Derivatives. Rough copies/approximations.

Well, no. There're a lot of "sub-species" of vampires, but anything else that sucks blood isn't a vampire.
